Charles-Alexandre Debacq
Charles-Alexandre Debacq, a French historical and portrait painter, was born in Paris in 1804. He became a pupil of Gros, and was greatly appreciated in his own country. There are several pictures by him at Versailles. He died in Paris in 1863.
